It is with great pleasure we announce today that Stephanie Bach has been shifted to the position of Vice President, Strategy and Policy.

Stephanie has been working with the Diplomat team for 14 months now, lending her expertise on critical projects and initiatives. Most notably, she has been a major support with the development of the cannabis consumption and therapeutic usage initiative for the City of Edmonton. In recent months, she has been given additional work load to manage some major client files in the agriculture and health sectors.
“Stephanie has a great policy mind and is an excellent strategic thinker. In her new role she will be able to offer our clients the expertise they require. We are pleased that Stephanie continues to grow with us as Diplomat expands its service offerings.”
— Ivan Ross Vrána, Managing Partner
Stephanie’s educational background is in biological sciences and agriculture. She obtained her undergraduate degree in molecular genetics with first class honours from the University of Alberta, right here in Edmonton. From there, she traveled to Ontario to obtain her graduate degree in plant breeding & genetics from the renowned University of Guelph.
Her career began while she was still an undergraduate student, taking a year off school for an internship position at the Alberta Research Council (now Innotech Alberta). Her experience with agriculture extends the larger part of 2 decades. She has 12 years in project management, 8 years in product development, and 5 years in executive leadership roles, all critical pieces to the exemplary work she conducts and to her networking skills.
“Stephanie has been a key team member and we are so excited to announce her a new role and new title, to reflect her growth at Diplomat. Having Stephanie in Edmonton has allowed Diplomat to continue to offer new services for emerging sectors, healthcare and agriculture. We are lucky to have her and look forward to working together for a long time to come.”
