We have another new face! We are excited to announce that Mackenzie Boilard has joined Diplomat Consulting as our fall intern! Mackenzie is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy at the University of Alberta, bringing with her a deep passion for public policy and government communications.

Mackenzie’s academic journey has been complemented by her valuable experiences working with the Government of Canada in various capacities and with the United Nations Department of Communications through IMUNA. These opportunities have provided her with unique insights into international communications and federal practices, which she is eager to apply and expand upon during her time with us.

With two publications already under her belt and a third underway, Mackenzie’s contributions to policy development are already making waves in the academic community. Her dedication to this field is matched by her enthusiasm for outdoor activities—when she’s not studying or working, you can often find her on a local ski hill or actively participating in student initiatives on campus.

As she steps into her role at Diplomat, Mackenzie is looking forward to helping our team elevate our government relations strategy and cohesion. She’s eager to learn from our skilled professionals and is ready to make a meaningful impact on our work.
