2023 has started off with a bang, especially when it comes to our initiative to implement a cannabis tourism and hospitality strategy in Canada.

The Diplomat team traveled to Lift Expo Vancouver in the first week of January to talk about cannabis tourism and regulations. We had a riveting panel and significant discussion on the potential of the industry moving forward.

Following that, Diplomat also went to the GoWest23 Edmonton conference to discuss cannabis to the event professionals community.

In conjunction with GoWest, Diplomat was also grateful to host an infused dinner event to showcase what cannabis can be. We are lucky to have hosted several tourism industry stakeholders across Western Canada for a delicious dinner catered by CBD CBN Catering.

Yesterday, we also gladly visited the Global News Edmonton studio bright and early, to chat with Vinesh Pratap on the Morning Edition. Covering topics from the the cannabis consumer demographic, the lack of municipal zoning for cannabis consumption, and how we believe the consumption and therapeutic usage of cannabis should be.
