Biography

Myles Dykes is the Manager of Public Affairs at Diplomat Consulting, where he enables clients to navigate complex policy landscapes and foster meaningful engagement between their stakeholders.

A 2024 graduate of MacEwan University, Myles brings a deep commitment to systems change and economic development by empowering communities through thoughtful policy and advocacy efforts. They leverage their prior experience as a Business Development Strategist at the Fort Edmonton Foundation, where he explored how shared history can strengthen community engagement and identity.

Myles has a rich background in nonprofit leadership, including their current roles as Vice-Chair of the REACH Edmonton Council for Safe Communities and Treasurer of the Pride Centre of Edmonton. Other leadership roles, such as President of the Students’ Association of MacEwan University and Youth Services Co-chair for Rotary District 5370, have further honed his strategic leadership skills. For his efforts as a young Rotarian in youth services as chair of the Rotary Youth Program for Enrichment, Myles was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in 2020. 

Outside of work, Myles remains deeply involved in initiatives that champion equity, youth leadership, and civic engagement.
