Senior Advisor
Jason is a senior executive and advisor with over 20 years of experience in both CFO and CEO roles. He led one of Canada’s largest medical laboratory companies for more than two decades, in partnership with a publicly traded multi-national and the country’s largest pension plan. Under his leadership, he built an engaged and resilient employee culture at the organization that was nationally recognized as one of Canada’s best.
His work during the pandemic drove Alberta’s COVID testing response for public health and private enterprise and enabled the NHL to safely return to play in Edmonton as well as successive World Junior Hockey Championships. Jason led the creation of Alberta-based bio-tech accelerators responsible for launching many first-in-North America technologies into Canada’s health system, and was instrumental in creating one the country largest occupational health testing companies.
Jason is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a graduate of the Queen’s University’s Executive Program, and is an active community builder currently on the boards of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Little Warriors, and Health Cities.
